Nouveau’s first Boudoir session…

I was very careful with this shoot to not photograph in a trashy, tacky or pornographic way, but in a way that focus solely on the design of our bodies. I wanted this series to celebrate the femininity of what we hold physically.
Each prop was carefully chosen along with the outfit. We wanted to be cohesive with the fall environment and so I chose to play with the wine red, black, grey and white. I threw the cheetah print in there to add dynamic and texture to the colors. I think the set turned out perfect!

This shoot is an album cover for a singer. I actually painted on the her underwear and stalkings with acrylic paint. I loved this project. There is much more to come with this session. I love my job:)

SIerra my new model:)

I was wonderful to be able to reshoot this dress. It has been in my mind forever. I recently took on a new model to work with Nouveau Photography, and this is her first shoot with us. She did amazing. She is an aspiring model who has a love for high fashion, glamor, and the balance of beauty. She is a strong willed woman who has her own ideas of how women should be portrayed. I love this girl!

During this shoot, my primary focus was the shape of the dress. It is a solid loud, saturated dress so that required the styling to be minimal and the setting to be ornamented. The red works so well in the environment that I chose, while the fall colors tone down the dress making it look classic, instead of just a red dress.
My partner and I did a wonderful job on this shoot. Her makeup was superb and of the highest quality. I commend her for her eye.
